Harold Betton, M.D.

COMMISSIONER

Harold Betton, M.D. was appointed to the Little Rock Municipal Airport Commission in March 2023. Dr. Betton is a Little Rock native and a practicing physician in the same neighborhood for more than 45 years.

Betton was the first African American to graduate from the College of Agriculture at the University of Arkansas, where he also earned a Masters in Natural Sciences. He is a graduate of the University of Washington School of Medicine.

Betton also serves as the pastor of the New Light Missionary Baptist Church and is a former vice chairman of the Little Rock Planning Commission.
